Cookie Making and Baking

On March 16, Mrs. Sheets' class celebrated St. Patrick's Day by making sugar cookies from scratch! In the morning, groups of students helped in making the dough. After refrigerating the dough for a couple of hours, groups of students continued helping in the cookie process by rolling out the dough and using clover shapes to cut out the cookies. After baking the cookies in the school kitchen, students frosted them with green frosting. It was a yummy and fun way to learn about measuring & cooking!
