Rock Into Reading

During March Is Reading Month our students will be taking up the challenge to Read Through the Decades! All around the school students will be placing records, tapes, and CDs on the walls which will represent minutes that they have read. A student can earn a record, tape, or CD to put on the wall by reading 100 minutes. The goal for the entire school is to read 115, 000 minutes. (Last year’s goal was 114,575 minutes.) The students can read on their own or (for younger students) be read to. There is also a reading calendar that will help students earn extra minutes.
