School Starts September 5

Elementary Parent-Teacher Communication Night:
Thursday,  Sept. 6, 6:00-8:00.

School Begins Sept. 5: The elementary school bell hours are 8:10 am to 3:25 pm.  The first day of school is a full day, and starts Wednesday, September 5 with buses running for all but kindergarten.  Parents of kindergarten students are to bring students to school and pick them up from school the first day only.  Buses will run for kindergarten the second day of school, Thursday, September 6.

Bright Beginnings Preschool and the Sunshine Club (extended care program) are located at the Elementary School.  Both programs have relocated to new classrooms this year and are now in the kindergarten classrooms in the front of the building.

Bright Beginnings will host a “Meet the Teacher” Open House on Thursday, Sept. 6 from 5-6:30p.m. in conjunction with CES’ Open House.  Registered families and families interested in learning more about the program are invited to stop in and visit.  For more information about preschool or Sunshine Club call Tricia Petrosky at 547-8143.

Four-day/Four- year-old preschool starts Sept. 11. Morning classes will run from 8:15 am to 11:15 am Tuesday-Friday.  Afternoon classes will run from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm.  Tuition-free slots are available for qualifying students.

Two-day/Three year-old preschool starts Sept. 11. Classes will run from 8:15 am to 11:15 am Tuesdays and Thursdays. Sunshine Club (Before/After-school care) is available for all students ages 3-10. Sunshine Club begins Wednesday, September 5 after school only. Care will be available all day starting Thursday, September 6. Children must be registered to attend.
