Larry Denemy, the Title VII Indian Ed Coordinator, arranged for Ray and Leroy Shenoskey and Mike and Pat Naganashe to share a demonstration of their Native American drumming and singing with Mrs. Thompson's 1st and 2nd grade music classes at Charlevoix Elementary School. Students learned about Native American culture, what Native American drums and sticks are made out of and how they are played, and the students had an opportunity to perform a circle dance.
