Mrs. Madison's 5th grade class celebrated World Read Aloud Day by presenting three tall tales to the residents at America House. The residents enjoyed hearing "The Legend of Slappy Hooper," "The Legend of Lightning Larry," and "Peddler Polly and the Story Stealer". The stories were done in reader's theater format. Afterwards students and residents visited over cookies and punch.
