Students who don't read over the summer lose knowledge. To help stop that "summer slide," the Charlevoix Public Library has teamed with our principal Mr. Drenth to make sure every student gets a book to read and has access to more books. Students received a book at the end of March. They read, reviewed, and turned that book in. Today they received a second book to read! In two weeks and for the rest of the summer they can trade in the books at the public library for another book. Students who exchange at least one book by September will receive a prize! Thank you to the library and to the many community sponsors who made this possible! Students: keep up the good work reading!
